Andrew is a forward thinking and strategic senior executive with hands on experience running both companies and major projects in the private and public sector. At RISE Andrew leads on the development of a 26 acre mixed use site alongside the Olympic Park.
A member of the Charted Institute of Building, with a degree in construction Andrew joined Bovis in 1998 and went on to have wide range of experience in the UK and Spain in the retail, commercial, health, telecoms and education sectors with project values ranging from £15m to £275m.
Prior to joining RISE, Andrew was Chief Operating Officer of the Construction Industry Council which represents the broad interests of the 34 professional institutions in the built environment and was a member of leading industry groups such as the HM Government’s BIM Task Group, the Green Construction Board and the Considerate Constructor Scheme.
Andrew also has significant experience in the sport sector and worked for the Organizing Committees of both the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the 2012 London Games and was a Director of British Taekwondo when the sport won its first Olympic medal in 2008.
