NSPCC Ball Bath

The RISE team in the South West continued their support for the NSPCC at the recent Summer Masquerade Ball, held in the Bath Assembly Rooms to celebrate 30 years of Childline.

Members of the RISE team joined 150 others from the community in the Bath area to raise money for this excellent cause.  RISE Business Development Director, Nigel Stapleton was asked to address the attendees during pre-dinner drinks and he took the opportunity to reflect on the level of privilege that all those present enjoy and encourage the revellers to dig deep in order to try and eventually remove the need for such events.

The Ball was also attended by the NSPCC Trustee David Tait who gave an inspiring and deeply moving account of his experiences as a child and more recently summiting Everest 5 times in recent years in order to raise funds for the NSPCC.
